From now on you as an event organizer or location manager can calculate the carbon emission at indoor events. To do this, you make use of the free carbon calculator of Julie's Bicycle and ID&T.
This free calculator is an expansion to Creative IG Tools, a collection of carbon calculators for the creative industry, which is used by more than 2,000 organizations worldwide. The tool measures various effects that can influence the emission, such as energy, water, waste and travel.
The calculator was first used this summer, during the dance event Sensation in the Amsterdam Arena. 40,000 attendees were onsite there.
