Our drinks were a great success, partly thanks to the magician we arranged through Promagic. You notice that there is good and quick contact between the contact person at Promagic and the magician, everything had already been discussed and arranged down to the last detail.
During the drinks, the Magician walked through the group of attendees and gave a mini-show to small groups, after which he left everyone amazed and with question marks. He did all this with a cheerful smile and conviviality.

Why hire an event agency?
There are three good reasons for this. Firstly, these event organisations have acquired experience in organising events. It cannot be ruled out that things won't go wrong, but an events office that knows the ins and outs of event management has a plan B and probably also a plan C in its pocket. It's a bit like writing. The most special event locations, the best event decoration, the best entertainment, ... they know the way! You can't get away with a seven out of ten at events for companies. People have strong expectations. And you have your reputation to uphold, don't you?
Finally, a full service event agency takes the work out of your hands and saves you time. By outsourcing the organisation of your event, your own team can fully focus on the daily activities. Just list everything you need if you are going to organise a corporate event: the concept, the location, the furnishing (technical and creative), invitations, catering, security, permits, speakers, entertainment, ... the list is very long. Are there any of those things you can do yourself? Or are there people on the market who can organise this more efficiently? The answer to this question is often 'yes'.
Engaging an event agency also means that you do not bear the responsibility for certain risks yourself, and it also ensures continuity. Just imagine that your project manager is sick a few days before your event. And also not unimportant, in times of labour shortage, event agencies usually have a high-quality network of people who can be involved as real professionals at your event.
A tip: collaboration really works! Make sure you form a (close) team with the people from your team, the event agency, and the main event suppliers.
Another thing, when you want to collaborate with an event agency
If you request a quote from an event organisation agency, always ask in advance whether it is free or whether you have to pay for it. And you know what is also a hot topic? Pitching! If you are going to let the event agencies pitch, first make a pre-selection in advance to know what could be the most appropriate event agencies for you. Don't let too many event agencies pitch. This causes unnecessary work (and demotivation).
