Stage Crashes Down in China: 1 Dead, 13 Injured

In the Chinese city of Nanning, stage-builders were buried by a crashing stage. One person was killed. Thirteen others were injured. 

 

The accident took place around 5 PM local time in the Guanxi Sports Centre in Nanning, the capital of the Guanxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China. Workers were busily constructing the stage for a concert of Tsai, when the lighting came crashing down and brought the whole construction down with it.  

 

One injured is in critical condition. The others are in a stable condition.  

 

The concert of Tsai was to take place on Saturday. The singer has said on her microblog that she was greatly saddened by the accident.
