Meet Briefings: a Powerful New Tool Just Landed in Your Event Software

We've been building something we're genuinely excited about, and today it's yours to explore.

eventplanner.net Briefings is now in public beta, and available directly in your account. It's the newest addition to our event software, and if you've ever organised an event of any real complexity, you'll immediately understand why we built it.

A tool that fills a real gap

Every event, whether it's a corporate conference, a wedding or a festival, involves a web of suppliers, partners and crew members, each of whom needs to know exactly what's expected of them. That information needs to be clear, complete and consistent. And it needs to reach the right people at the right time.

The briefing is the document that makes all of that happen. It's the bridge between your vision and its execution. And yet, for most event planners, creating and managing briefings has always been one of the more laborious parts of the job, scattered across emails, Word documents, and shared folders, with no single clear source of truth.

That's exactly the gap Briefings is designed to fill. And because it works seamlessly together with the Supplier Management and Callsheet tools already in your account, everything stays connected - from the first brief you send to the final run-of-show.

What it does

Built directly into the eventplanner.net event software, Briefings lets you create structured, professional briefings for your events and share them with exactly the right people. You can set up generic sections that go to everyone involved, add supplier-specific sections for particular partners - your caterers, AV team, decorator or security crew - and keep everything updated in one central place.

Because it lives inside your eventplanner.net account alongside your budgets, moodboards, call sheets and supplier management, your briefing is always connected to the rest of your planning. Not floating in someone's inbox. Not saved on a laptop that isn't yours.

Part of something bigger

Briefings is the latest step in our ongoing mission to give event planners a complete, professional toolkit, all under one roof. We believe that when the administrative and logistical side of event planning runs smoothly, you get to spend more energy on what actually matters: creating experiences that leave a mark.

We're still actively developing the tool during the beta phase, so you may notice improvements along the way. That's intentional. We'd rather put it in your hands now and build it together with your feedback than wait for perfect.

Try it now

Briefings is available today in your eventplanner.net account. Open any event, and you'll find it waiting for you: www.eventplanner.net/event-tools/briefings/

Documentation and training materials are on their way. In the meantime, if anything isn't clear or you have feedback, the in-app chat is the fastest way to reach us.

Happy briefing.

A note on pricing: Briefings is currently free to use as part of our free event software offering. We haven't yet decided whether it will remain free for all users after the beta period or become exclusive to eventplanner.PRO members. We'll communicate any changes well in advance.
