Cois na hAbhna

Cois na hAbhna is a hireable cultural and event venue in Ennis, County Clare, and the regional centre of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann for the Meitheal area. Its facilities can accommodate organisers planning performances, meetings, workshops and community gatherings.

The main space is a 300-seat auditorium with dressing rooms, sound and lighting equipment. It is suited to concerts, dance performances, presentations and other audience-based events. For smaller gatherings, organisers can enquire about the conference room, which has audiovisual equipment, along with classrooms and meeting rooms. These options make the venue suitable for everything from a focused meeting to a larger programme with an audience.

The building also has a bar and a fully equipped catering kitchen, as well as on-site parking. Organisers can contact the venue directly to discuss room availability and hire rates, and to find out which facilities will suit their event. The location is used for traditional Irish music, song and dance programming, including concerts and céilí dances, while its rooms are also available to outside event organisers.

As well as providing event space, Cois na hAbhna supports the work of Comhaltas through classes and cultural activities. Its combination of an auditorium, smaller rooms and practical facilities offers event planners in Ennis several options within one venue. Whether planning a performance, a meeting or a community event, organisers can enquire about the space and arrangements that best fit their needs.
