Kauffman Foundation Conference Center

The Kauffman Foundation Conference Center is a meeting and conference venue on the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation campus in Kansas City, Missouri. It offers nine rooms that can be arranged for different formats, from small discussions and workshops to larger presentations and gatherings. The Town Square room seats up to 200, while the other rooms accommodate groups of around 10 to 80 people. Organisers can choose layouts suited to meetings, training sessions, panels and collaborative programmes.

The venue provides audiovisual technology, event planning assistance and free on-site parking. Catering is available through its exclusive on-site provider, with menus for food and drink service. Organisers place catering orders through their meeting planner, and advance deadlines apply. Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the conference centre.

Use of the facility is subject to an application and approval process, so it is not an unrestricted hire venue. Eligible organisations include active grantees of the Kauffman Foundation or Muriel McBrien Kauffman Family Foundation, qualifying 501(c)(3) organisations, and state or local government agencies. Requests are reviewed, and submitting a reservation form does not guarantee a booking. Space use is free for approved groups, with catering costs applying. The centre is particularly suited to organisers planning educational, civic or entrepreneurial gatherings that meet the foundation's eligibility guidelines.
