Wissenschaftszentrum Kiel GmbH

Fraunhoferstraße 13, 24118 Kiel, Germany

Wissenschaftszentrum Kiel hires out event spaces for business and professional events. Across more than 450 square metres, event planners can host workshops, conferences, seminars and congresses for groups of different sizes. Depending on the format, the spaces can accommodate up to 200 people.

The rooms can be adapted flexibly to suit the programme. Mobile partition walls allow for different layouts, making it possible to set up both larger event areas and spaces for working groups or smaller discussion groups. Modern event technology is available for presentations and talks. Additional meeting rooms can be used as separate work areas for more complex formats. They are suitable, for example, for workshops or barcamps where smaller groups work in parallel.

The offering also includes an in-house catering service to provide refreshments during the event. The Wissenschaftszentrum team advises event planners on planning and delivery, and helps put together suitable rooms and schedules for each occasion. This means the venue can be booked for anything from a compact workshop to a larger congress with several programme items.

The venue is located in Wissenschaftspark Kiel, an area that brings together event spaces and a setting shaped by science, business and technology. There are also other workspaces for smaller meetings and additional formats, including meeting rooms for around 15 people and a versatile meeting point. Wissenschaftszentrum therefore offers a range of ways to organise events and related working sessions at one location.
