Cottage Grove Armory

Cottage Grove Armory is a historic, flexible event venue in the centre of Cottage Grove, Oregon, available for private, corporate and community bookings. Managed through the City of Cottage Grove’s facility rental programme, the building offers a distinctive setting for meetings, celebrations, training sessions, performances, markets and larger community gatherings.

The main floor provides access to the spacious drill hall, company meeting room, prep kitchen, Battery Club Room, Captains Room and stage. Its open layout and high ceilings allow organisers to arrange the space for different event formats, from seated meals and presentations to standing receptions, shows and public activities. The drill hall can accommodate up to 1,153 guests standing, 823 seated with chairs only, or 384 guests using tables and chairs, subject to the applicable occupancy requirements.

Smaller bookings can use the Company Room, which includes the meeting space, prep kitchen, standard tables and chairs, and a drop-down projector screen. Tables, chairs and linen are available through the venue, while audio equipment can also be rented for events requiring microphones and speakers. A projector is not included, although a screen is available. The facility has an ADA entrance and nearby city and street parking.

Organisers can reserve the venue for a minimum of two hours, with setup and breakdown time included in the booking period. Reservations may be made up to one year ahead, subject to availability. Events serving alcohol require the appropriate Oregon permit, and additional charges may apply for equipment, extended hours, cleaning, security deposits and linen hire. Cottage Grove Armory offers event planners a practical, adaptable venue with the character of a long-standing civic building and the capacity to support a wide range of occasions.
