Plug & Play - Good activity during a big meeting

We played Plug & Play (without guidance) with about 400 people, so 80 groups. The game is nicely packaged in a box with the group number on it. The explanation is clear and every group got started quickly. It was a nice end to a whole day of listening, with most of them working very fanatically. The results also arrived by email soon after the last group had finished. We've also gotten really good feedback from people about this, so I can definitely recommend it.

We hebben Plug & Play ( dus zonder begeleiding) gespeeld met ongeveer 400 personen, dus 80 groepen. Het spel zit mooi verpakt in een doosje met daarop al de groepsnummer. De uitleg is duidelijk en elke groep was snel aan de slag. Het was een mooie afsluiter van een hele dag luisteren, waarbij de meeste heel fanatiek aan de slag gingen. De uitslag kwam ook snel nadat de laatste groep klaar was per mail binnen. We hebben hier ook echte goede feedback over gekregen van de mensen, dus kan dit zeker aanbevelen.

On Tuesday, April 9, we had the Connect & Collab game provided by The Box Company.
This was a surprise for all participants. Everyone had a great evening!
The game has many different aspects and assignments, so there is something for everyone that he or she is good at. Teamwork is very important and is really encouraged. Our participants were pleasantly surprised by the questions and the level of difficulty.

We would like to thank Yana for her enthusiasm and guidance during the game. We would also like to thank Bert for the great cooperation.

This is definitely worth repeating!

Voor alle deelnemers was dit een verrassing. Iedereen heeft een super avond gehad!
Het spel heeft veel verschillende aspecten en opdrachten waardoor er voor iedereen wel iets tussen zit waar hij of zij goed in is. Teamwork is heel belangrijk en word ook echt gestimuleerd. Onze deelnemers waren blij verrast door de vragen en de moeilijkheidsgraad.

Wij willen Yana bedanken voor haar enthousiasme en de begeleiding tijdens het spel. Ook willen we graag Bert bedanken voor de fijne samenwerking.

Dit is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

The Box Company's Plug & Play was a very fun and interactive game and our 4 teams participated enthusiastically. It was easy to understand even for less digitally skilled colleagues. They thought the time passed very quickly and wanted to continue even longer. Highly recommended to strengthen cooperation in a team!

A very successful team building activity. From young to old(er) participated enthusiastically. No one made it to the end, so there were plenty of riddles to solve. The scoring online and the assignments on the computer were clear. The assignments were sometimes easy and sometimes a little more difficult, but usually solved without help. It was also nice to see that everyone participated enthusiastically and was looking for a win. Tip: Include a prize with the game for the best group.

De puntentelling online en de opdrachten op de computer waren duidelijk. De opdrachten waren soms makkelijk en soms iets moeilijker, maar meestal zonder hulp op te lossen. What a nice concept. Simple concept and therefore accessible to many. We only received nice reactions, there were 55 of us. Assignments were varied and easy to do (not for some hahaha). Highly recommended!

Super fun custom game!

The Connect & Collab game provided a good hour of entertainment with almost 100 players involved from all over the world! The customization revisited a number of topics that had previously been mentioned during various presentations. In this way there was no doubt that these matters were brought to the attention of the participants. Everyone participated enthusiastically and during the hour people became more and more enthusiastic, which led to a fun and pleasant atmosphere and where people got to know each other better.

Op deze manier was er geen twijfel dat deze zaken nog eens extra goed bij de deelnemers onder de aandacht gebracht werden. Iedereen nam enthousiast deel en gedurende het uur werden mensen steeds fanatieker, wat tot een leuke en gezellige sfeer leidde en waarbij mensen elkaar beter leerde kennen.

Escape room experience

I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent service I received. Prior to our event, there was extensive communication with us, where all options and required information were clearly discussed. This gave us a lot of confidence and a good feeling about the collaboration.
On the day itself everything went extremely smoothly. The Box Company team not only arrived on time to get everything ready, but also created a very pleasant atmosphere during the event. Everyone experienced it as a lot of fun, partly thanks to their professional approach and friendly attitude.
What I also particularly appreciated was the fact that they contacted us afterwards to inquire whether everything had gone according to plan. This shows that they are truly committed to their customers and strive for optimal satisfaction.
All in all, I am very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend them to others who are looking for a reliable partner for their events.

Ik wil graag mijn waardering uitspreken voor de uitstekende service die ik heb ontvangen. Voorafgaand aan ons evenement werd er uitgebreid met ons gecommuniceerd, waarbij alle mogelijkheden en benodigde informatie duidelijk werden besproken. Dit gaf ons veel vertrouwen en een goed gevoel over de samenwerking.
Op de dag zelf verliep alles uitermate soepel. Het team van The Box Company was niet alleen op tijd aanwezig om alles klaar te zetten, maar zorgde ook voor een zeer plezierige sfeer tijdens het evenement. Iedereen heeft het als zeer leuk ervaren, mede dankzij hun professionele aanpak en vriendelijke houding.
Wat ik ook bijzonder waardeerde, was het feit dat ze achteraf nog even contact opnamen om te informeren of alles naar wens was verlopen. Dit toont aan dat ze echt betrokken zijn bij hun klanten en streven naar optimale tevredenheid.
Al met al ben ik zeer tevreden over de dienstverlening en zou ik hen zeker aanbevelen aan anderen die op zoek zijn naar een betrouwbare partner voor hun evenementen.

Perfect team building activity for remote teams

We did the Remote Teambuilding Activity with a small team of 6 people spread across locations in the Netherlands and USA. Even though the maximum is actually 5 people per team, we were able to have 6 in 1 team so that we could focus on improving our collaboration. Because we all have a part of the puzzle, everyone has to think along and work together, and you prevent team members from being drowned out.
It is a short but valuable activity in which you learn a lot about each other, but also have a lot of fun at the same time. I can definitely recommend this to teams that work together from different locations.

Wij hebben de Remote Teambuilding Activity gedaan met een klein team van 6 mensen verdeeld over locaties in NL en USA. Ondanks dat het maximum eigenlijk 5 personen per team is, konden wij met 6 in 1 team zodat we konden focussen op het verbeteren van onze samenwerking. Doordat we allemaal een deel van de puzzel hebben moet iedereen meedenken en samenwerken, en voorkom je dat team members overstemd worden.
Het is een korte maar waardevolle actviteit waarin je veel leert over elkaar, maar tegelijkertijd ook heel veel lol hebt. Ik kan dit zeker aanraden aan teams die vanuit verschillende locaties met elkaar samenwerken.

Great fun and interesting challenges - recommended

The team at The Box Company were incredibly responsive and helpful when I was looking for a short notice event for my team. Getting organised was incredibly simple, and information was sent out to the whole team as planned - the game site worked without a hitch, and there were some great brain teasers. The way the activities rely on all team members is good fun, encouraging communication and conversation with your team mates. Will use again and would definitely recommend.

Excellent care team activity

We ordered the Plug & Play teambuilding Experience from The Box Company as part of an event for 110 people. The participants ranged in age from 14 to 60 years. We ordered a kind of escape room without live guidance and that is quite exciting with a large group of participants, with a game that you, as an organizer, are not familiar with. However, we were well informed about this by The Box Company by telephone and email before the event, but also by the information we received with the boxes. The participants could then start and play the game independently. At one point, one of the groups had a problem (through their own fault) to progress in the game and I contacted the support department by telephone, which is available during the game, and here too we were helped very quickly. which allowed the group to continue. We are very satisfied with the collaboration with The Box Company.

Wij hebben bij The Box Company de Plug & Play teambuiding Experience besteld, als onderdeel in een event voor 110 personen. De deelnemers hadden een leeftijd van 14 tot 60 jaar. We bestelden een soort escape room zonder live begeleiding en dat is toch best spannend met een grote groep deelnemers, met een spel wat je zelf als organisator ook niet inhoudelijk kent. We zijn hierin voor het event echter prima telefonisch en per mail geinformeerd door The Box Company, maar ook door de informatie die we bij de boxen hebben ontvangen. De deelnemers konden vervolgens echt zelfstandig de game opstarten en spelen. Op één moment had een van de groepen een probleem (door eigen toedoen) om verder te komen in het spel en hiervoor heb ik toen telefonisch contact gehad met de support afdeling, die beschikbaar is tijdens het spel, en ook hier zijn we supersnel verder geholpen waardoor de groep ook weer verder kon. Wij zijn dik tevreden over de samenwerking met The Box Company.

Student play

Nice game that we played with an activity with children between 10-14 years old. Because we had multiple packages, we could track who was where in the game, which made it extra competitive. It might be an idea to include an explanation/answer sheet so that the group supervisor can assist if necessary.

the goal was to play an interactive game where we would learn more about each other. We definitely came across some new insights 😋. The game was accessible to everyone, the app was easy to use and choosing your own questions was great.

This year we have enriched our annual kick-off sessions about the annual plan in 2024 with the Connect & Collab game from The Box Company. A super fun interactive part during the sessions, a really valuable addition. Spread over 6 sessions, 47 teams with a total of 242 colleagues played the game and everyone was very enthusiastic! In addition to the standard version, we also applied customization, so that the game focused on our customer focus theme. The preparations with The Box Company and the guidance during the evenings by The Box Company were well organised, we had a great collaboration! Highly recommended, thank you!

Plug & Play Experience APG

From APG we booked the Plug & Play Experience during a two-day trip to work with the team on some team building. The boxes were delivered on time and everyone was looking forward to them (profit is of course also important). The instructions were clear and the 90 minutes started. The assignments are diverse and very fun to do. One is quite easy and the other causes some crackling in the brain. During the game you also see the scores of the other groups and that of course creates some pressure to perform faster and better. Ultimately, the 90 minutes are over in no time and we all look back on a fun, challenging team building activity. I can recommend The Box Company to everyone.

Vanuit APG hebben we tijdens een tweedaagse de Plug & Play Experience geboekt om samen met het team te werken aan een stukje teambuilding. De boxen werden tijdig geleverd en iedereen had er zin in (winst is natuurlijk ook belangrijk). De instructies waren duidelijk en de 90 minuten gingen in. De opdrachten zijn divers en heel leuk om te doen. De ene is vrij makkelijk en de andere zorgt toch wel voor wat gekraak in de hersenen. Tijdens het spel zie je ook de scores van de andere groepen en dat zorgt natuurlijk voor wat druk om sneller en beter te preseteren. Uiteindelijk zijn de 90 minuten zo voorbij en kijken we met z'n allen terug op een leuke, uitdagende teambuildingsactiviteit. The Box Company kan ik dan ook iedereen aanraden.

De tijd vloog (te snel) voorbij. Een echte aanrader als je op zoek bent naar een leuke team building activiteit!

We played Collect & Collab with 95 people. Everyone was enthusiastic. We mixed the group so that as few direct colleagues as possible were together. It was a good ending after the serious part. Although solving the problem was also taken very seriously.

We entered into the 'battle' in 2 teams! The enthusiasm and fanaticism of the players increased by the minute! We solved many puzzles in the 75 minutes of the game. We were sorry when the time had passed and would have liked to continue!! ;-) The game is very well put together, very diverse puzzles and topics are discussed. Great team builder!

In 2 teams zijn wij de 'strijd' aangegaan! Het enthousiasme en fanatisme van de spelers steeg met de minuut! Veel puzzels hebben we opgelost in de 75 spelminuten. The Box Company managed to set up a fun program for us at the last minute. This is the second time we have played the game and it was still well received. Everyone participated enthusiastically and there was a good atmosphere.

ICT team outing

I wanted to organize a fun and digital team outing for the IT department of two healthcare institutions that are in a merger process. One of the employees lives abroad. Very nice experience

We recently did a Plug & Play Experience with our Karis Advisory Group office during our annual staff outing. We had the hour and a half version and this could have been longer. Very original, challenging, literally having to think out of the box to come up with solutions. Nice to see that within a team everyone knows something and that complements each other to a good solution. During the game you see the scores of the other teams, which adds extra pressure. That makes some assignments even more challenging. Everyone was very enthusiastic and even planned to play this themselves with friends. Highly recommended!

VMBO class 3 introduction

When we introduced the 3rd classes of vmbo, we used the collaboration assignment of The Box Company. It was a success. Students focused on this. The assignments were challenging enough. Some groups needed some hints from the supervising teachers in order not to get stuck, even though they can also ask for hints online. We will leave this in our program. We also requested that the time be set to 100 minutes, but we will shorten this next year.

Bij onze introductie van de 3e klassen vmbo, hebben wij gebruik gemaakt van se samenwerkingsopdracht van The Box Compagnie. Het was een succes. Leerlingen zijn hier geconcentreerd mee bezig geweest. De opdrachten waren uitdagend genoeg. Sommige groepen hadden wel wat hints nodig van de begeleidende docenten om niet vast te lopen, ondanks dat ze ook online hints kunnen vragen. We gaan dit wel in ons programma laten. We hadden verder gevraagd om de tijd op 100 minuten te zetten, maar dit gaan we komend jaar inkorten.

Connect and Collab

We played the Connect & Collab game with the team (40 people). Wake up in a light-hearted way after the summer holidays.
The communication and guidance from The Box Company was very pleasant. All organization is taken care of, so that everyone can participate in an hour of solving riddles together. It flew by and afterwards there were positive reactions from colleagues.

Group of 70 people became fanatical

We participated in an escape room game from the Box Company with 70 of our employees. Great to see how fanatical everyone was! The game has many diverse questions, so we all had to work in groups of 5 or 6 to come up with the solutions. Tip for other users: make sure you schedule a little more time in advance to understand what the intention is, instead of just the duration of the game. Some groups started later and then it's over quickly. Thank you for this experience!

We hebben met 70 van onze medewerkers mee gedaan met een escape room spel van the Box Company. Heerlijk om te zien hoe fanatiek iedereen was! Het spel heeft veel diverse vragen waardoor we in groepjes van 5 of 6 allemaal nodig waren om de oplossingen te bedenken. Tip voor andere gebruikers: zorg dat je iets meer tijd inpland van te voren om allemaal door te hebben wat de bedoeling is, in plaats van alleen de tijdsduur van het spel. Sommige groepjes kwamen later op gang en dan is het snel voorbij. Bedankt voor deze belevenis!

Engaging experience

Last week we had the pleasure of having a super fun experience thanks to the efforts of The Box Company. I can proudly say that the (custom) game they provided for us was a success.

With about 250 participants it seemed like a challenge to keep everyone involved and enthusiastic, but the time flew by! The game was carefully designed to challenge, collaborate and spark creativity.

Working with The Box Company was professional and seamless. They perfectly understood our needs and managed to translate them into an exciting gaming experience that perfectly matched the theme of our meeting.

Afgelopen week hadden we het genoegen om een superleuke ervaring te beleven dankzij de inzet van The Box Company. Met trots kan ik zeggen dat het (maatwerk)spel dat ze voor ons hebben verzorgd een succes was.

Met ongeveer 250 deelnemers leek het een uitdaging om iedereen betrokken en enthousiast te houden, maar de tijd vloog voorbij! Het spel was zorgvuldig ontworpen om uit te dagen, samen te laten werken en de creativiteit te prikkelen. 

De samenwerking met The Box Company was professioneel en naadloos. Ze begrepen perfect wat onze behoeften waren en wisten die te vertalen naar een boeiende spelervaring die perfect aansloot bij het thema van onze bijeenkomst.

We have hired both escape rooms (15 minutes) at our party. We could do an escape room before, during and after dinner. Most guests were very enthusiastic and for some this was an introduction to an escape room. Had nice feedback from the guests. Provides conversation material.

Super fun activity during the Business Day

As part of the RUDay with the theme "This is how we work..." we played an escape box from the Box company in the morning. The entire organization was very enthusiastic about this and they actually wanted to continue playing the game a little longer. Nice to see how enthusiastic and fanatical everyone became with this game.
The communication prior to the day went perfectly and on the day itself everything was arranged by the Box company itself, so that everyone from our organization could participate in the game. We will definitely keep you in mind for next time!

Fun for everyone!

I have already organized a staff party at my previous employer in the past. That went so well that I approached them again. They came up with a very nice concept. This time we opted for the Connect & Collab Experience. It was a bull's-eye. All colleagues participated fanatically and there was active cooperation (and sometimes even running) to score the best points. The reactions were positive and it was well received by everyone! Super fun concept.

Ik heb in het verleden all een personeelsfeest georganiseerd bij mijn vorig werkgever. Dat is zo goed bevallen dat ik ze ook nu weer heb benaderd. Ze kwamen met een erg leuk concept. Dit keer hebben we gekozen voor de Connect & Collab Experience. Het was een schot in de roos. Alle collega's deden fanatiek mee en er werd actief samengewerkt (en soms zelfs gerend) om de beste punten te scoren. De reacties waren lovend en het viel bij iedereen goed in de smaak! Super leuk concept.

Opening youth camp JVA

The Youth Holiday Activities Foundation (JVA) organizes an instruction day for its staff every Sunday before its opening. This year, JVA wanted to take a different tack and do some special activities. We have opted for an Ice-Breaker in combination with a box.

The Ice-Breaker was very well received. As if the stock markets were about to collapse, people searched and called for the right colleagues. With much laughter, shouting and happiness, everyone managed to find their partners in time. The Ice-Breaker lasted just the right amount of time. The advantage of this is that you know how to hold the attention during a large piece of information provision.

The box has also been well received. JVA likes to encourage collaboration and this game provided exactly that collaboration. Received a lot of positive feedback. Boarding is low and the puzzling itself can be solved for every puzzling brain. To be repeated!

All in all very satisfied. From preliminary to aftercare. Communication is very pleasant and not pushy.

Stichting Jeugd Vakantieaktiviteiten (JVA) organiseert elke zondag voor haar opening een instructiedag voor haar personeelsleden. Deze jaargang wilde JVA het over een andere boeg gooien en wat bijzondere activiteiten. Wij hebben gekozen voor een Ice-Breaker in combinatie met een box.

De Ice-Breaker was geweldig ontvangen. Alsof de beurzen op omvallen stonden werd gezocht en geroepen naar de juiste collega's. Onder veel gelach, geroep en geluk wist iedereeen op tijd zijn of haar partners te vinden. De Ice-Breaker duurde precies lang genoeg. Voordeel hieraan is dat je de aandacht weet vast te houden tijdens een flink stuk aan informatievoorziening.

De box is eveneens goed ontvangen. JVA wil graag samenwerking stimuleren en dit spel zorgde precies voor deze samenwerking. Veel positieve feedback ontvangen. Het instappen is laag en het puzzelen zelf is voor elk puzzelend brein op te lossen. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Al met al zeer tevreden. Van voortraject tot nazorg. Communicatie is zeer prettig en niet opdringerig.

Icebreaker and collect&collab

We have booked the combi icebreaker and connect&collab for our organization. A nice combination because of the literal icebreaker of half an hour and then cracking the brain with the collect & collab. Our colleagues have responded very positively to the activities and it was a pleasant afternoon. The contact with The Box Company was perfect from quotation to execution. Pleasant afternoon at the office

We have really only had positive reactions. From our side it was a pity that two complete departments were not there despite the fact that we had made it 'mandatory' because it was during working hours. As an organization, we really didn't think that was possible, but that's good internally. You really set it up and did it very nicely. The only thing I was told was that they thought it was too short. As an organization we also thought it was a little bit 'not really team-oriented' as in, I wouldn't know how to do it any other way, but you now make small groups that compete against each other. Mutual interaction and really becoming more of a team didn't appeal to me. Still, it was really fun to do!

We hebben eigenlijk alleen maar positieve reacties gehad. Vanuit onze kant was het jammer dat twee complete afdelingen er niet waren ondanks dat we het ‘verplicht’ gesteld hadden omdat het onder werktijd was. Dat vonden wij als organisatie écht niet kunnen maar goed dat is intern. Jullie hebben het echt heel erg leuk opgezet en gedaan. Het enige wat ik te horen kreeg was dat ze het te kort vonden duren. Als organisatie vonden wij het ook een heel klein beetje ‘niet écht team-gericht’ als in, ik zou ook niet weten hoe je het anders moet doen hoor maar je maakt nu kleine groepjes die strijden tegen elkaar. Onderlinge interactie en echt meer een team worden vond ik er niet in zitten. Blijft dat het wel echt heel erg leuk was om te doen !

Isa helped us in this process. We needed the items in a bit of a rush, and delayed delivery ran us into trouble. The Box Company was kind enough to deliver the items to someone's home; a great service!
Apart from that, the games were great fun, all our colleagues wanted to continue playing. Recommended!

Very successful!

We had organized various activities for a fun department outing, including a kind of escape room. Unfortunately, this was canceled shortly before the day itself due to a shortage of staff, which left us with our hands in the hair. And then there was The Box Company, what a godsend! Very good help on the phone, quick responses and everything delivered as agreed. On the day itself I found it exciting, would it work, without guidance? And did it work! A real battle ensued, in which almost no one was sitting but actively participating.

Voor een gezellig afdelingsuitje hadden we diverse activiteiten georganiseerd, waaronder een soort escaperoom. Helaas werd deze kort voor de dag zelf afgezegd wegens tekort aan personeel, waardoor we met de handen in het haar zaten. En toen was daar The Box Company, wat een uitkomst! Ontzettend goed geholpen aan de telefoon, snelle reacties en alles geleverd volgens afspraak. Op de dag zelf vond ik het spannend, zou het lukken, zonder begeleiding? En of het lukte! Er ontstond een ware strijd, waarbij op het laatst bijna niemand meer zat maar actief mee stond te doen.

The Student Game: easy to set up, lots of fun!

We did the Student Game with our students. Incredibly fun puzzles that are challenging. Seated together in a large hall; you noticed that this tip had a good effect on the competition feeling. Students finished a little faster than expected, but they are also super smart😀

Met onze leerlingen hebben we de Student Game gedaan. Ontzettend leuke puzzels die uitdagend zijn. Met z'n allen in een grote zaal gezeten; je merkte dat deze tip een goede uitwerking had op het competitie gevoel. Leerlingen waren wel iets sneller klaar dan gedacht, maar ze zijn dan ook superslim 😀

Exciting, working together & so much fun!!

Once a different escape assignment but certainly fantastic. The whole team enjoyed the assignments, which were certainly not always easy. Working together, knowledge, but also a lot of fun has resulted in this escape. The visibility of the scores of all groups during and after the game ensures even more enthusiasm.

Eens een andere escape opdracht maar zeer zeker fantastisch. Het hele team heeft genoten van de opdrachten, die zeker niet altijd even gemakkelijk waren. Samenwerken, kennis maar ook zeker heel veel plezier heeft deze escape opgeleverd. De zichtbaarheid van de scores van alle groepen tijdens en na het spel zorgt voor nog meer gedrevenheid.

OR Team Building

We had a really good time playing the game.
The questions are so good that they make you think as logically as possible.
For questions where we needed a 'hint' every now and then, I often thought after we had the solution of 'yes, very logical, that we hadn't thought of that'.
Which means that the game is very well put together, compliments for that!
After all other works council related activities it was a very welcome distraction from which we experienced a lot of fun and competition and, above all, that as a team you
really have to work together to find the solution.

We hebben ons heel goed vermaakt tijdens het spelen van het spel.
De vragen zijn zo goed, dat ze maken dat je zo logisch mogelijk moet denken.
Bij vragen waar we zo af en toe een ‘hint’ nodig hadden, dacht ik vaak nadat we de oplossing hadden van ‘ja heel logisch, dat we daar niet opgekomen waren’.
Wat betekent dat het spel zeer goed in elkaar zit, complimenten daarvoor!
Het was na alle andere OR gerelateerde activiteiten een zeer welkome afleiding waar we veel plezier en competitie aan hebben beleefd en vooral dat je als team
echt samen moet werken om tot de oplossing te komen.

We had the plug & play box with a group of 20 people, divided into 4 groups. With 75 minutes on the clock, we competed against each other and had to work together in smaller groups to score as many points as possible. The puzzles were diverse in all areas (puzzling, music, technical, artistic) which made it extremely challenging! The time really flew by and we had a lot of fun!

Our team (around 40 people) played Connect & Collab game. It was a great, exciting afternoon! Since you play in a team of 4-5 people, there was always someone who was better in one riddle, and someone else in a different one. Really nice team work :) I received a lot positive comments afterwards, everyone was happy and relaxed.
Planning and organization was also great - from easy and friendly contact via e-mail, to helpful and friendly person that was leading our game.

The Box Company organized two games for our MT afternoon. An icebreaker and a connect-and-collab game. The latter is a kind of escape room game. When we arrived on location everything was already neatly ready and we could get started right away. The guidance knew well what they were doing and took the group into the game. We laughed, got to know each other better and competed for the honor (and a cup).
