De Morgan House

De Morgan House is a central London meeting and conference venue in a Grade II listed building overlooking Russell Square. Its conference suite provides a choice of flexible rooms for organisers planning meetings, training days, workshops, interviews, board meetings, classes, seminars and smaller conferences.

The venue includes the Hardy Room, Cayley Room, Burnside Room, Sylvester Room and Executive Boardroom. The largest room accommodates up to 70 guests in theatre or reception layouts, while the smaller rooms are suited to focused discussions, board meetings and training sessions for intimate groups. Several rooms can be connected or combined with nearby breakout areas, giving organisers useful flexibility when planning different parts of a programme.

Rooms benefit from natural daylight, complimentary Wi-Fi, projector and screen facilities, whiteboards, flipcharts and stationery. Hybrid meeting equipment is also available, making the venue suitable for events with remote participants. The catering area and rear garden provide practical spaces for refreshments, informal networking, lunch breaks and outdoor pauses when the weather allows.

Food and refreshments are supplied through a partnership with Eden Caterers. Options include breakfast, pastries, hot and cold refreshments, sandwiches, lunch buffets, canapes and bespoke reception menus. The venue team provides support from the initial enquiry through to the event day, with additional accessibility information available for organisers.

The venue also offers discounted room hire and AV rates for charities, non-profit organisations and mathematical charities. Income from bookings supports the charitable work of the London Mathematical Society.
