Set in a historic Baroque castle near Regensburg, the Bayerische Musikakademie Schloss Alteglofsheim provides a distinctive setting for organised group events, music projects, seminars, workshops, conferences and performances. The venue combines characterful rooms, practical event facilities and on-site accommodation, making it especially suitable for multi-day programmes where participants need to meet, work, rehearse and stay in one location.

The academy offers a broad range of seminar and rehearsal rooms in the castle, including several rooms of different sizes for group work, training sessions, ensemble rehearsals and smaller meetings. Many spaces are equipped with keyboard instruments, while additional technical equipment and teaching resources can be arranged according to requirements. A media laboratory, instrument workshop and library add useful facilities for educational, cultural and creative programmes.

For larger presentations and performances, the concert hall provides approximately 300 square metres of space, a three-part lift stage of around 100 square metres, seating for up to 250 spectators and installed lighting and sound equipment. The hall can accommodate concerts, showcases, rehearsals, talks and selected conference formats.

The adjoining guest house offers 105 beds across 59 single and double rooms, four apartments and an accessible double room. Groups can also benefit from in-house dining, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, refreshments and regional cuisine, with vegetarian options available by prior arrangement. Communal rooms, a dining area, leisure facilities and the surrounding castle park support informal networking and downtime between sessions.
