The Evergem company Amusivent specializes in the total organization of parties and events. Badly hit economically by the Corona crisis, they do not want to lose courage and they start working creatively for others. With their project Radio Rust Roest they travel with a mobile radio studio to all residential care centers in Evergem. “Everyone is affected, and we can of course complain and see, but that is not in our nature,” says Tom Van der Vennet of Amusivent. “When I drove past a rest home in Evergem and I saw the seniors waving on their balcony, it hit me hard. We had to do something with our free time, and preferably for the people who were first affected by the lockdown. Kenneth Viellard, Tom's partner at Amusivent, immediately started preparations to convert a caravan into a mobile radio studio. “We are entrepreneurs with a corner. In times of crisis you have to be creative and come out in a positive way. ” “Thanks to the good relationships with our suppliers, a few phone calls were enough to set up this project. Everyone was super enthusiastic about this charity and volunteered to participate. We immediately had the cooperation of our fellow DJ Peter Van Praag and within a few hours a caravan, a great logo, technical support, lettering and so on. Even our accountant spontaneously offered to give us a financial boost so that we could start! ”, Says Tom. The project will soon start in the various residential care centers in Evergem. Afterwards it can also be booked outside the municipality. More information is available on www.radiorustroest.be
