Brush up
Sometimes there is simply no time to have all presentations undergo a complete redesign or the speaker will not allow it. We then look at compatibility in terms of font use, format, photos and videos in the presentation. We ensure that everything works correctly and looks as it was created by the presenter. For example, existing presentations are used without errors.
Event support

A good New Year's presentation looks back, looks ahead and motivates

With the end of the year period approaching, many receptions will be organized as usual. Unfortunately, the mandatory accompanying speech / presentation is often treated in a stepmotherly manner and it is started much too late. However, this can be a time to send a strong signal to employees. The New Year's speech does not have to be just a short toast. A good New Year's presentation looks back, looks ahead and motivates. The New Year's presentation looks back Looking at the objectives of the past year and to what extent they have been achieved. On the one hand, it indicates that the targets pronounced were not empty words. On the other hand, it provides a recognition of what everyone has strived for and worked for in the past 365 days. Quite a few figures can be shown and discussed here. The New Year's presentation looks ahead We look back at the coming year in retrospect. What do you want to achieve in the coming year? Where are we going? Be as concrete as possible in this as well and do not just keep it on a strategic message. If growth is an important objective, indicate how much that growth should be. Where it should come from, how it should be done and what efforts should be made to achieve this. The New Year's presentation motivates Having a vision for the company and communicating it openly and clearly is in itself a strong motivator. Involve employees in your message. Involve them in your objectives and clearly indicate their role / responsibility in this. What do you expect from them and what's in it for them? Even if you have to deliver a difficult message, these are important factors. Save the best for last If you want to give your employees an end-of-year gift, bonus or anything else, it's best to do so at the end. That way you end up with the best. State why you are giving this gift. This could be because you promised that in the previous presentation. So keep your promises and surprise them with it at the end of your presentation. Pay attention to your message. Take the time to prepare it properly and also take the time when you give the presentation. A New Year's presentation can last about 15-20 minutes. Long enough to buoy and short enough not to get bored. Depending on your speaking style, you can decide whether or not to run a Powerpoint. It can support your message and make it more powerful. Met de eindejaarsperiode voor de deur zullen er gewoontegetrouw veel recepties georganiseerd worden. De verplichte bijbehorende speech/presentatie wordt helaas vaak stiefmoederlijk behandeld en er wordt veel te laat aan begonnen. Deze kan echter een moment zijn om een sterk signaal aan de medewerkers te geven. De nieuwjaarsspeech hoeft namelijk niet louter een korte toost te zijn. Een goede nieuwjaarspresentatie blikt terug, kijkt vooruit en motiveert.

De nieuwjaarspresentatie blikt terug

Kijken naar de doelstellingen van het afgelopen jaar en in welke mate deze gerealiseerd zijn. Het geeft enerzijds aan dat de uitgesproken targets geen loze woorden waren. Anderzijds zorgt het voor een herkenning van waar iedereen de afgelopen 365 dagen naar gestreefd en voor gewerkt heeft. Hier mogen best wat cijfers getoond en besproken worden.

De nieuwjaarspresentatie kijkt vooruit

Vanuit de terugblik kijken we naar het komende jaar. Wat wil je het komende jaar bereiken? Waar gaan we naartoe? Wees hierin ook zo concreet mogelijk en hou het niet louter op een strategische boodschap. Als groei een belangrijke doelstelling is geef dan ook aan hoeveel die groei moet zijn. Waar ze vandaan moet komen, hoe dat moet gebeuren en welke inspanningen daarvoor geleverd moeten worden.

De nieuwjaarspresentatie motiveert

Het hebben van een visie voor het bedrijf en daarover open en duidelijk communiceren, is op zich al een sterke motivator. Betrek de medewerkers in je boodschap. Betrek hen in je doelstellingen en geef duidelijk aan wat hun rol / verantwoordelijkheid daarin is. Wat verwacht je van hen en wat hebben zij eraan? Ook als je een moeilijke boodschap moet brengen zijn dat belangrijke factoren.

Save the best for last

Als je een eindejaarsgeschenk, premie of nog iets anders aan je medewerkers wenst te geven doe je dat best op het einde. Zo eindig je met het leukste. Geef aan waarom je dit geschenk geeft. Dat kan bijvoorbeeld zijn omdat je dat in de vorige presentatie beloofd hebt. Kom je beloftes dus na en verras hen ermee op het einde van je presentatie.

Geef aandacht aan je boodschap. Neem de tijd om het goed voor te bereiden en neem ook de tijd als je de presentatie geeft. Een nieuwjaarspresentatie mag zo'n 15-20 minuten duren. Lang genoeg om te boei en kort genoeg om niet te vervelen.

Afhankelijk van je spreekstijl kun je beslissen om wel of niet een Powerpoint te laten meelopen. Het kan je boodschap ondersteunen en krachtiger maken. Zorg dan wel voor een beeldende presentatie met weinig tekst.
