the room
- Castroper Straße 89, 44791 Bochum, Germany
The room can be adapted to suit different working formats. Moveable tables allow for various seating arrangements, including parliamentary-style seating, a boardroom layout or a U-shape. The lighting can also be adjusted to create the desired atmosphere for working or conversation. For presentations and collaborative work, the room has Wi-Fi, a 75-inch 4K television, a projector and screen, a flipchart, a whiteboard and presentation materials, among other equipment. Use of the listed equipment is included in the room hire.
Bookings are generally made by the day. Organisers can request catering, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, finger food and desserts. A drinks package and optional service staff are also available for the event day. This makes it possible to plan the room for focused work as well as a longer workshop with breaks.
The venue is on Castroper Straße, near the Planetarium and the Ruhrstadion. It is accessible by public transport, and parking is available nearby and, in some cases, directly at the building. Event planners can arrange a viewing in advance and discuss their preferred room layout and any additional services with the team.
