Poppodium De Beuk

1e Barendrechtseweg 55, 2991 XE Barendrecht, Netherlands

Poppodium De Beuk is a small music and events venue in Barendrecht, on the border with Rotterdam. The venue puts on concerts and DJ nights, with a broad focus on alternative music. The programme features a range of genres, including rock, pop, reggae, ska, hip-hop, techno, drum and bass, metal and punk. The room can accommodate around 150 visitors and has a PA system for live performances.

De Beuk organises more than forty concerts, DJ nights and other activities each year. The venue is also occasionally available to external organisations. Event planners looking for an intimate venue for a music programme or another gathering should therefore contact the venue directly to ask about the options, capacity, technical facilities and availability. The organisation is run by volunteers and has its own lighting and sound team, among other things.

Alongside the venue, De Beuk rents out two equipped rehearsal rooms to bands. These are intended for musicians who want to rehearse at regular times and are rented separately from the event venue. The venue is close to the A15 and has free parking. There are also bus stops a short walk away. Poppodium De Beuk is therefore particularly appealing to organisers looking for a compact venue with a clear live music feel in the Barendrecht and Rotterdam region.
