The Barn at Dunvilla

The Barn at Dunvilla is a historic country venue in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, available for weddings and a range of other gatherings. Its converted barn offers indoor space across two levels, with the long upstairs loft as a distinctive setting for dining, ceremonies and dancing. The venue says the loft can seat around 250 guests, with capacity reaching approximately 280 for some events.

The property also includes a lawn, outdoor patio and deck, giving organisers options for outdoor ceremonies, receptions and informal time between event activities. Inside, guests can make use of separate areas for dining and dancing, a fireplace lounge, and a bridal retreat. A separate Boathouse provides a space for the groom and his party to get ready. The venue is promoted as a year-round location, with views of Lake Lizzie and the surrounding countryside.

Weddings are a key part of the offering, alongside corporate events, non-profit meetings and conferences, private parties, family reunions and graduation celebrations. Organisers can enquire about wedding packages and pricing, or submit a separate enquiry for other events. The venue also describes options for catered meals and BBQs, while allowing room layouts and outdoor areas to suit different types of gathering.

With its combination of historic character, indoor function space and outdoor grounds, The Barn at Dunvilla gives event planners a single location for formal celebrations, business occasions and community gatherings. The property is set across six acres, with distinct spaces that can be used individually or combined to shape the event.
