The Theodore Event Center

The Theodore Event Center is a downtown Jackson venue offering several distinctive rooms for weddings, receptions, showers, private parties, corporate events, meetings and community gatherings. Its spaces can be booked individually or combined, giving organisers options for both intimate occasions and larger celebrations. The venue advertises capacity for events of around 30 to 250 guests, with the right layout depending on the rooms selected.

Rooms range from smaller spaces suited to meetings, dinners and cocktail gatherings to the larger Top Hat room, which is designed for weddings, banquets and receptions. The Cravat and Ascot rooms can be joined for additional space, while the shared Anubis lounge is included with events. Wedding parties can also make use of separate getting-ready suites, including a groom's room and a bridal suite.

The rooms feature individual character, hardwood floors, decorative lighting and flexible layouts. Included furnishings include a selection of chairs and tables, and parking is available. Organisers can also enquire about add-ons such as tablecloths, a small stage and a basic sound system. Rental charges depend on the room, time required and extras, with a four-hour minimum.

The Theodore is located among downtown Jackson's shops and local amenities. Prospective clients can arrange a tour to discuss their event and explore how the rooms might work for their plans. The venue welcomes outside caterers and other vendors, subject to its requirements, so organisers can coordinate services that suit their event.
