The Elowen Room

The Elowen Room is a small event venue in Princeton, Illinois, offering a characterful setting for private gatherings and community activities. The approximately 1,000-square-foot space is suited to occasions such as bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners and family celebrations, as well as art exhibits, creative classes and other local events.

The venue occupies a historic building dating from the late 19th century. Its original details include tall windows that bring in natural light, decorative tin ceilings, an exposed brick feature wall and hardwood floors. These period features give the room a distinctive look, while modern amenities make it a practical option for contemporary gatherings. The layout can be adapted for different seating arrangements or an open floor plan, giving organisers flexibility when planning how guests will use the space.

Located on North Main Street, The Elowen Room offers event organisers a compact alternative to a larger function venue, particularly for occasions where an intimate atmosphere is important. Its mix of historic character and adaptable space can suit celebrations, informal meetings, workshops and creative community events. Organisers can contact the venue to discuss their plans and confirm which arrangements and amenities will work for their event.
