Haus der Begegnung Potsdam

Zum Teufelssee 30, 14478 Potsdam, Germany

Haus der Begegnung in Potsdam-Waldstadt rents out accessible rooms for private celebrations and events organised by clubs, initiatives and groups. The hall is suitable for family celebrations and other gatherings of up to 50 people. For private celebrations, this room is available together with the kitchen and can be booked by the day.

Haus der Begegnung also offers suitable rooms for events organised by clubs and associations, meetings, talks and workshops. Regular use for courses or working groups is also possible. Tables and chairs are provided. The kitchen can also be used, and there is crockery and cutlery for around 50 people, a fridge and two dishwashers.

As a local community centre, the venue is also an open meeting place for people of different generations. Its programme includes creative groups, educational activities, neighbourhood gatherings and events, among other things. This community focus also shapes the character of the rooms: they are particularly suitable for smaller celebrations and gatherings in an informal setting.

The rooms are wheelchair accessible. For event planners looking for a modest venue in Potsdam for a celebration, workshop or club meeting, the house offers practical basic facilities and a kitchen on site. The team can provide information about availability and use of the rooms on request.
