The New Adelphi Club cic

The New Adelphi Club is an independent live music venue in Hull, with a main room that can be hired for events. Organisers can enquire about private parties and other bookings, while the venue's regular programme of live performances makes it a natural fit for gigs and music-led gatherings.

The room has a capacity of around 200 and comes with a stage, a sound desk, a PA system and a comprehensive lighting installation. There is also a private green room above the stage, plus a secure area behind it. The venue is regularly used for live recording, and its acoustics are a notable feature for performances.

The club has a strong focus on original music and emerging artists, hosting a varied schedule of gigs and community events. Its intimate scale suits organisers seeking a close connection between performers and audience rather than a large concert setting. Private bookings can be discussed directly with the venue team, making the space available for celebrations and other occasions as well as its public music programme.

Located on De Grey Street, the venue is close to Newland Avenue and Beverley Road, with bus links nearby and a small car park for bands and customers. Step-free entry and exit are available. Organisers should contact the team in advance to discuss access needs, seating arrangements and the details of their event.
