The Tassel Performing Arts Center

The Tassel Performing Arts Center is a theatre and event venue in Holdrege, Nebraska, available for hire by public organisations and private event planners. Its main auditorium has 818 fixed seats, with additional portable seating, making it suitable for performances, conferences, workshops, meetings, product introductions and other gatherings that need a stage and audience seating. Weddings, holiday celebrations and private parties are also among the events the venue considers for hire.

Organisers can enquire about renting the full facility or booking the lobby or backstage green room separately. The auditorium is supported by professional lighting and sound equipment, a counterweight fly system, a ground-level loading dock and a broad stage. Performers have access to four dressing rooms, backstage showers and a green room. The two-level lobby and auditorium have lift access, and the facility was designed to meet accessibility standards.

The venue is also home to professional arts programming and school performances, so availability depends on the calendar. Prospective hirers should contact the director to check dates and request the rental information. The application process asks organisers to specify the spaces, timings, equipment and staff required, with rental arrangements subject to approval. Smoking and alcohol are not permitted in the building or on its grounds. With its theatre infrastructure and several bookable spaces, The Tassel can suit planners looking for a seated performance setting or a distinctive venue for a business or community event.
