De Postwagen and Posta7 in Tolbert offer event planners a versatile venue for parties, weddings, meetings and group gatherings. The historic building and the adjoining venue have a range of rooms, each with its own atmosphere. The spaces can be set up for meetings, training sessions, parties and wedding celebrations, among other events. Wifi is available, and a projector or screen can be provided on request.

The team also provides catering for gatherings. Options range from a lunch buffet and hot and cold buffets to shared dining and an indoor barbecue. Depending on the group size, guests can be seated in the restaurant or in a private room. Organisers can coordinate room hire, food and drink, with the option to have their own music and a programme tailored to their needs.

The venue also offers meeting packages and the option to combine a gathering with an activity at Posta7. Activities such as bowling, Fun Curling or the Jail Challenge can provide a break or a fitting end to a business day. A corporate outing with food and activities can also be planned all in one place.

De Postwagen has a dedicated wedding offering and wedding rooms. The team can help with choosing the room, deciding on the layout and planning the day. The venue is located on the A7 in Tolbert, between Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe, and has ample free parking. This makes it suitable for organisers looking to combine a celebratory or business gathering with hospitality, catering and, if desired, on-site entertainment.
