Waldbühne Berlin

Glockenturmstraße 1, 14053 Berlin, Germany

Waldbühne Berlin is a large open-air amphitheatre in Olympiapark, offering event organisers an impressive setting for live events under the open sky. The venue is rented to event organisers, who plan, promote and run their events independently. Waldbühne itself is therefore the venue, not the organiser of individual concerts or shows.
The audience area can accommodate up to 22,290 people. The tiers are mostly seated, while the floor can be used for standing or seated audiences, depending on the event. A covered stage structure, the distinctive acoustics of the natural bowl and the setting in the heart of Olympiapark shape the character of the venue. It is particularly suited to large-scale concert productions and other live events that require a high audience capacity and an open-air setting.
Built in 1936, the stage was initially used, among other things, as an open-air cinema. Since 1962, concerts have been the main focus. The event calendar spans a range of musical genres and artists, each presented by external organisers. Event organisers can get in touch through Venue Management or the sales department to discuss planning. Information on technical and organisational procedures, audience entry, accessibility, travel and catering helps with event preparation. Waldbühne Berlin is therefore a specialist venue for event organisers looking to reach a large audience in a historic open-air arena.
