Centre des congrès La Salamandre

16 Rue du 14 Juillet, 16100 Cognac, France

The Centre des congrès La Salamandre, a venue run by the City of Cognac, welcomes organisers looking for flexible spaces for business, cultural or community events. Located in the heart of Cognac, it brings together several rooms, allowing the venue to be adapted to the size and format of each event.

The 660 m² multi-purpose room has a stage and a kitchen. For conferences, presentations and performances, the auditorium offers 300 seats, a projection booth, a screen, and sound and lighting control systems. Four meeting rooms, designed for groups of 10, 20, 30 or 60 people, can host workshops, business meetings or small-group sessions. A 40 m² reception hall, a bar area and a lounge complete the available spaces.

The rooms are particularly well suited to congresses, general meetings, conferences, seminars, trade fairs, performances and corporate meetings. The venue has also hosted dinners, cocktail receptions and community events. The variety of spaces makes it possible to combine a plenary session with breakout meetings, or to hold an event in a larger room with a stage.

The City of Cognac makes the centre available to organisers and provides information about the facilities and hire arrangements. Event organisers can contact the relevant municipal department to discuss their plans and arrange a site visit.
