FireHouse Arts & Events Center

FireHouse Arts & Events Center is a community arts venue in Fairhaven, Bellingham, housed in a renovated 1927 fire station. Organisers can enquire about renting its studio for performances, events, classes and workshops. The space is designed with dancers and other active classes in mind, and its retractable seating for more than 80 people can be lowered to create an intimate audience setting or folded away to open up the floor.

The studio is used for a range of arts and community activities, including performances, recitals and workshops. A calendar helps prospective renters check availability, and the venue can promote a renter's event through its newsletter, website and printed materials when suitable content is provided. Event coordination and ticket sales remain the responsibility of the group hiring the space, so organisers should plan to manage those themselves.

An on-site cafe gives visitors a place to meet or take a break, with coffee, tea, baked goods, sandwiches and other light food. It has indoor seating and a garden area beneath a mature sycamore tree. The centre also hosts classes and public performances, and includes community meeting and gallery spaces as part of its wider arts programme.

For event planners seeking a distinctive, neighbourhood-scale setting for a performance, workshop, class or community gathering, the FireHouse offers a flexible indoor studio in a historic building. Contact the centre directly to discuss the space, intended use and available dates.
