De ruimte voor ideeën is a meeting and workshop venue in Rotterdam's Hofbogen, designed for organisations and event planners looking for a place to hold gatherings with room to work together, discuss ideas and develop plans. The venue comprises a main room of over 70 m² and an adjoining breakout room of over 20 m². Its flexible layout makes it suitable for meetings, creative sessions, brainstorming, presentations, training, workshops and smaller events, among other things. Depending on the layout chosen, it can accommodate groups of up to 50 people.

One standout feature is the XXL whiteboard, which covers more than 25 m², along with flipcharts, writing materials and sticky notes. For presentations and online meetings, facilities include Wi-Fi, a projector, a projection screen and a wireless speaker, with options such as a webcam and a green screen also available. Technical support can be requested if you need extra help with the equipment. The room can be set up in a theatre, cabaret or meeting layout, for example, or left mostly empty.

Practical arrangements can also be tailored to the event. Coffee, tea, soft drinks and fruit are included in the stated half-day options. Lunch, soup, sandwiches, sweets and savoury snacks can be provided on request, with options tailored to dietary requirements if needed. A host welcomes the group and shows attendees around. If you would like to add more to the programme, you can request extra activities or support, such as a facilitator, mindfulness, a walk, a cookery workshop or tai chi. This gives event planners a flexible setting for both focused working sessions and gatherings that combine online and in-person elements.
