The Reckoning

The Reckoning is a Pittsburgh-based tribute band available to book for live events. Its musicians perform the music of R.E.M., bringing together vocals, guitars, bass, drums, mandolin and keyboards for a full-band sound. The act is suited to organisers looking to add a live alternative rock performance to a concert, private celebration, corporate gathering or other event programme.

Rather than relying on costumes or impersonation, the band puts the emphasis on the music. Its aim is to capture the character and energy of the original recordings in a live setting, with a repertoire that draws on R.E.M.'s broad catalogue. The group has performed the material since 2010 and has played venues of different sizes, making it an option for organisers considering a dedicated tribute set rather than a general cover-band performance.

The band provides booking information and a press kit for event planners, including a stage plot and a representative set list to help with production planning. Organisers can make an enquiry through the band's booking contact or contact form to discuss availability and event requirements. The website also features band-member biographies and performance videos, offering a useful introduction to the musicians and their approach before making an enquiry.

For organisers seeking a recognisable catalogue performed by an experienced local band, The Reckoning offers a focused live tribute suitable for audiences who enjoy alternative rock. It is a performing act for hire, not an event venue, and can be considered as entertainment within a wider event programme.
