Mt. Nittany Overlook Event Center

Set high on the Mt. Nittany ridge near Centre Hall, Mt. Nittany Overlook Event Center offers a distinctive setting for weddings, rehearsal dinners, business retreats, university functions, corporate dinners and celebrations of life. Its elevated position gives guests sweeping views of the surrounding countryside and mountains, with outlooks from windows, decks and gathering areas.

The venue has three levels of event space, including the Overlook Room, Elevation 1809 and the Hillside Room. Different layouts are available for seated meals, receptions and meetings, so event planners can choose a space to suit the occasion and guest list. The rooms can also be used for an on-site wedding ceremony followed by a reception, allowing guests to celebrate in one location. The main-level Elevation 1809 room is accessible by lift, and the Overlook Room has an elevator and a flexible layout.

Food and service are provided by the venue's in-house Harrison's Eat Well Catering team. Menus can be planned around the event, with options ranging from formal dinners to relaxed, social-style meals. Vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free choices can be accommodated, and hosted or cash bar arrangements are available. Tables, chairs, china, silverware and glassware are included in the room rental, while additional options such as linens and audiovisual equipment can be discussed when planning.
