Arcata Theatre Lounge

Arcata Theatre Lounge gives event organisers a distinctive setting in a historic Art Deco cinema in central Arcata. The building dates to 1938 and now operates as a venue for live entertainment, film and private functions. Its theatre character offers a memorable backdrop for gatherings that call for more atmosphere than a conventional meeting room.

The programme includes live music and performance, comedy, DJ-led dance nights and cult or classic film screenings. This mix makes the space relevant to organisers considering concerts, community occasions, celebrations and other events where an audience-facing programme is central. The venue also hosts non-profit and private events, so organisers can enquire about using the space for a gathering of their own.

Food and drinks are part of the guest experience, with dining and a full bar available alongside the venue's entertainment programme. This can suit events where guests want to socialise before or after a performance, or enjoy refreshments during their visit. The building's established cinema identity and intimate lounge atmosphere give organisers a recognisable local setting in Humboldt County.

Arcata Theatre Lounge is at 1036 G Street in Arcata, California. Event dates, programming and opening times vary, so organisers should contact the venue directly to discuss availability and the requirements of a proposed private or non-profit event. Specific room layouts, capacities and private-event packages should be confirmed with the venue when making an enquiry.
