Bally Cliff Farm

Bally Cliff Farm is a countryside event venue in Poolesville, Maryland, centred on a restored 1894 barn. Set among open fields, meadows and a farm pond, the property offers organisers a distinctive rural setting for weddings, company events and private celebrations.

The venue combines indoor and outdoor areas, giving planners options for ceremonies, receptions, parties, picnics and gatherings in different seasons. The barn has heating and air conditioning, while outdoor events can make use of the grounds and, where needed, additional tenting. The setting also includes parking, guest facilities and a preparation suite for wedding parties.

For weddings, the farm provides space to shape a day around the couple, from the ceremony through to the reception. Its open landscape and historic barn offer a range of backdrops, with indoor alternatives available when weather or temperatures make an outdoor plan impractical. The venue also welcomes corporate occasions such as team gatherings, training days, company picnics and holiday parties, as well as family reunions, birthdays and other private celebrations.

Event planning and catering can be arranged through High Point Catering, which works with organisers on menus and event details. The farm describes its approach as flexible, allowing clients to personalise the occasion rather than follow a fixed format. With its historic character, working-farm surroundings and adaptable indoor and outdoor spaces, Bally Cliff Farm gives event planners a setting suited to both relaxed gatherings and more formal celebrations.
