El Rey Theatre

El Rey Theatre is a historic Art Deco venue in Los Angeles' Miracle Mile, available for concerts and private event hire. Built in 1936 and later converted into a live music venue, it pairs period character with facilities suited to contemporary productions. Its setting includes a dramatic lobby, sweeping staircases, chandeliers, a grand ballroom and a VIP balcony lounge.

Event organisers can enquire about using the theatre for weddings, galas, milestone celebrations, corporate functions, entertainment events and filming. The space can be arranged for different formats, from standing receptions and performances to theatre-style gatherings and seated banquets. A stage, sound system and lighting are available, including custom LED chandelier lighting. The venue also has a private balcony with its own bar, up to three bar locations, two dressing rooms and chairs, with cabaret and cocktail tables available from its inventory.

The theatre also accommodates virtual events, hybrid meetings and livestream broadcasts. Its distinctive interiors offer a memorable backdrop for productions that benefit from a historic setting, while the built-in performance infrastructure supports live entertainment and presentations. Organisers can explore the venue through a virtual tour and contact the sales team to discuss their event requirements, layout and availability.

As a working concert venue, El Rey Theatre hosts a programme of live music and other performances, as well as accepting enquiries for private events. Its mix of performance facilities and flexible event layouts makes it relevant for planners seeking a distinctive Los Angeles venue for an audience-facing show or a private occasion.
