Genegen is a small meeting venue in Alkmaar for businesses, trainers and other organisers looking for a pleasant place to hold an event. The characterful building has two rooms available. The largest room can be arranged flexibly for meetings, training sessions, courses, workshops and presentations, among other things. Depending on the chosen layout, it can accommodate small groups of up to around 35 participants. The second room can be used for lunch or drinks, discussions in smaller groups, or a meeting where extra privacy is desired. It can also be used separately from the main room.

For presentations and hybrid meetings, the venue has touchscreens, a camera, microphones, sound equipment, and wireless and wired presentation options. Wi-Fi, a flip chart and materials for brainstorming sessions are also available. This allows organisers to run their programme at the venue and involve participants remotely.

The venue also provides coffee, tea, homemade treats, lunches, snacks and refreshments. There is a focus on organic, fair-trade and local products, and allergies can be taken into account. Organisers can choose a simple welcome with coffee or a more comprehensive catered day programme. Genegen can also help plan the details of special occasions.

The rooms are within walking distance of Alkmaar station and the city centre. There are several multi-storey car parks and car parks in the surrounding area. With its flexible layouts, personal welcome and available facilities, Genegen is well suited to business events where a calm, well-appointed setting is desired.
