The Center for Education and Performing Arts

The Center for Education and Performing Arts (CEPA) is an event facility in Pell City, Alabama, with spaces available to hire for public and private events. Its two principal spaces serve different needs: a 400-seat theatre designed for performances and concerts, and a 2,000-seat gymnasium suited to larger gatherings, sporting events and fundraisers. The theatre can also accommodate pageants, recitals, screenings and political forums.

Organisations, businesses and individuals can enquire about reserving the facility. The venue is jointly owned by the City of Pell City and Pell City Schools, whose events receive priority when dates are allocated. Other bookings are arranged subject to availability, with reservations handled on a first-come, first-served basis. The rental information sets out the terms for hiring the spaces, including requirements for liability insurance and advance approval for certain equipment and activities.

CEPA is also a home for local performing arts and community programmes. Its calendar includes theatrical productions, concerts, educational workshops and sporting events, while its Spotlight programme supports drama activities in the area. For event planners, this mix of performance-oriented facilities makes CEPA a practical option for productions and larger community or organisational events in East-Central Alabama. Organisers can contact the management team to discuss a booking, arrange a tour or walkthrough, and confirm which space and scheduling arrangements suit their event.
