The Green at Wembdon

The Green at Wembdon is a community venue in Bridgwater with flexible spaces for private celebrations, weddings and business gatherings. Organisers can choose the Main Hall for larger occasions, or book the smaller Kidsbury and Crowpill Halls for more intimate events. The Main Hall can accommodate up to 200 guests and is suited to birthdays, anniversaries, family celebrations and receptions.

Couples can book a wedding package with exclusive use of the Main Hall and kitchen, together with the bar. The venue also welcomes children’s parties, baby showers, christenings and funeral receptions, offering bright, modern rooms for occasions of different sizes. A bar is available for bookings, and kitchen facilities can be used for preparing tea and coffee or setting out a cold buffet. External caterers can use the commercial kitchen.

For meetings, conferences and training sessions, the Sedgemoor Room seats up to 60 and has tables, an integrated sound system, a wall-mounted screen with HDMI connection, air conditioning and a small kitchen facility. These features make it practical for presentations, workshops and group discussions.

The venue is part of a larger community site and offers free parking and accessible facilities. Its range of rooms gives event planners options for both social and professional occasions, with a local setting in Wembdon and convenient access from Bridgwater. Organisers can contact the venue to discuss availability, room hire and arrangements for their event.
