Alte Dorfschule Heeßel

Dorfstraße 9, 31303 Burgdorf, Germany

Alte Dorfschule Heeßel in Burgdorf rents out rooms for small celebrations, seminars, courses and cultural events. The historic half-timbered house, built in 1790, offers a special setting for event planners looking for a personal atmosphere rather than a large, standardised venue.

The Kaminzimmer, measuring around 80 square metres, is set up for events with up to 50 people. It has step-free access, automatic ventilation and sound-insulated windows. From here, guests can access the Bauerngarten, landscaped with fruit trees, herbs and flowers. The garden can be used until 10 pm. A country-style kitchen is right next to the Kaminzimmer and is suitable for catering or group cooking events. There is a pavilion for smokers.

The historic classroom, measuring around 35 square metres, is available as an additional room. It can accommodate up to 20 seminar participants and can be used for training sessions, workshops or yoga classes. For celebrations, the room can also be used as a buffet area, a table for gifts or a dance floor, for example. Technical connections are available, and the windows look out onto the garden.

A guest apartment on the upper floor is also available to rent. It accommodates two to six people and has a kitchen, several living and sleeping areas, a bathroom and a roof terrace overlooking the fields. Prices are available on request. If needed, Alte Dorfschule can recommend caterers, service staff and bakeries. This allows event planners to arrange the rooms to suit their occasion and coordinate any additional services themselves.
