Scio Historic ZCBJ Hall

Scio Historic ZCBJ Hall is a community venue available to hire for private celebrations and organised events in Scio, Oregon. Built in 1922, the hall has a strong connection to the area's Czech American heritage and has served as a gathering place for generations. Today, organisers can book it for weddings and receptions, anniversaries, memorials, banquets, family parties, meetings, fundraisers, concerts, plays, auctions and other community occasions.

The venue is offered for day and two-day hire, giving organisers flexibility to plan an event around their schedule. Renters can bring their own tables and chairs, which is useful for tailoring the room layout to the occasion. The hall's varied past and continuing role in local life make it a fitting choice for events that benefit from a traditional, community-centred atmosphere rather than a standard hotel or conference setting.

The volunteer-run organisation also hosts fundraising and cultural activities of its own, while making the hall available to outside hirers. Its location on North Main Street places it in the heart of Scio, and the team asks prospective renters to get in touch about availability and local booking arrangements. Whether planning a wedding reception, a family gathering, a performance or a community fundraiser, organisers can enquire about using this historic hall as their event venue.
