The Morris

The Morris is an event venue in Clarksburg, West Virginia, set inside a restored historic building. Its third-floor event space offers 10,000 square feet for weddings, receptions, private celebrations, corporate events and meetings. The venue can host gatherings of up to 350 guests, with a first-floor lobby and a private bridal room available for wedding parties.

Organisers can draw on the venue's planning support, including help developing a floor plan to suit the event and guest count. Tables, chairs, white linens and napkins are available, alongside vintage furnishings and decor, three serving bars and catering preparation rooms. The building's industrial character and historic details provide a distinctive backdrop, while the open event space can be arranged for different types of gatherings.

The Morris allows organisers to choose their own licensed, insured caterer, and can offer recommendations. Catering teams have access to preparation facilities, including sinks, refrigerators and food-preparation space. Alcohol may be served, but professional bartenders must be on duty whenever drinks are being served. The venue has parking for up to 100 vehicles, with additional street parking nearby.

Couples can consider The Morris for wedding ceremonies and receptions, while businesses and other organisers can enquire about meetings, parties and receptions. The venue invites prospective clients to arrange a private viewing and check available dates. Its combination of flexible event space, furnishings and planning assistance gives organisers a venue to shape around their occasion.
