Dorpsstraat 46, 1546 LK Jisp, Netherlands

Jisper Kerk is a historic event venue in the village of Jisp in Noord-Holland. Built in 1822, the building is surrounded by meadows and water, offering organisers a distinctive setting for a wide range of gatherings. The church is suitable for wedding ceremonies, receptions, anniversaries, dinners, meetings, talks and cultural events, among other occasions. Concerts are also held there regularly.

The monumental interior gives every event its own atmosphere. Its defining features include a wooden barrel vault, seventeenth-century furniture and a floor of gravestones. At the same time, the church is equipped for multifunctional use, with additional rooms and a stage. Its acoustics make the venue particularly well suited to musical performances and other programmes where sound plays an important role.

Facilities available for events include a kitchen, sound system, projector and projection screen. Catering is available, allowing organisers to complement their gathering with food and drink. The church is also an official wedding venue where both religious and civil weddings can take place. After the ceremony, there is space to welcome guests for a reception or other celebratory occasion.

The characterful setting suits personal celebrations as well as small-scale business and cultural gatherings. Organisers can enquire about the options, facilities and availability for their specific programme. Jisper Kerk is therefore a distinctive venue for anyone looking for a historic setting with an intimate atmosphere, a striking interior and space for different kinds of events.
