TIP Theater im Pädagog UG (haftungsbeschränkt)

Pädagogstraße 5, 64283 Darmstadt, Germany

Theater im Pädagog rents out its historic vaulted cellar in the Alten Pädagog in Darmstadt for private celebrations and business events. The rooms are suitable for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas parties, conferences and product presentations. The natural stone cellar combines the character of an old building with facilities for today's event formats. In good weather, the area in front of the Baroque building, with its Sommergarten, is also available.
The approximately 114-square-metre hall can be laid out with different seating arrangements to suit the occasion. Options include theatre-style seating, smaller groups of tables or one long table. For a celebration with tables, there is room for around 80 guests, while theatre-style seating can accommodate events with up to around 120 people. A flexible stage, a concert piano, lighting, a sound system and a projector support talks, presentations and artistic performances. There is a backstage area with a cloakroom for performers.
Catering can also be tailored to suit the occasion. The team works with chefs and catering teams from Darmstadt and advises on food options, such as a set menu, a buffet or finger food. The on-site kitchen allows food to be prepared and served, while a bar with refrigeration facilities and an espresso machine completes the space. On request, Theater im Pädagog can also help find musical or theatrical performers. Event organisers can visit the rooms by arrangement and discuss their preferred equipment, seating and catering with the team. Thanks to its central location in Darmstadt, the venue is also easy to reach for guests from the Rhine-Main region.
