Study day - smooth communication and everything organized down to the last detail

For our organization, we were looking for a suitable location with sufficient room capacity for 70 employees and various layouts. Through De Montil, we received a fair quotation, and all our questions were answered promptly and clearly. They also communicated smoothly with our external partner who handled the teambuilding that day. On the day itself, everything was organized down to the last detail, from indicating the rooms where our group needed to be, to the catering and the reception on the beautiful terrace, equipped with a sunshade to combat the heat. It was very hot that day, but at the last minute, they managed to provide plenty of ice cream for everyone in the afternoon. The catering, by the way, was very well presented and delicious. In short, our employees thought it was a fantastic day.

Voor onze organisatie waren wij op zoek naar een geschikte locatie met voldoende zaalcapaciteit voor 70 medewerkers en verschillende opstellingen. Via de Montil kregen wij een correcte offerte aangeboden en werd vlot en duidelijk gereageerd op al onze vragen. Ook communiceerden zij vlot met onze externe partner die de teambuilding opnam die dag. De dag zelf was alles tot in de puntjes georganiseerd, van de aanduiding van de zalen waar onze groep moest zijn, tot de catering en de receptie op het mooie terras, voorzien van een zonnescherm tegen de hitte. Het was zeer warm die dag maar last minute kon er toch gezorgd worden voor voldoende ijsjes voor iedereen in de namiddag. De catering was overigens heel verzorgd en lekker. Kortom, onze medewerkers vonden het een topdag.

Quality is extremely important to us, and that is precisely why it was nice to feel that everything was followed up to the last detail.
Everything was perfect on the day itself as well: ample parking, a clear reception, a beautifully prepared hall, perfectly functioning audiovisual support, sufficient technical assistance, and a team that clearly understood our needs. The catering was well-organized, plentiful, and delicious. The breakfast, breaks, international buffet, and closing drinks were all arranged down to the last detail.
The location itself is beautiful and offers plenty of space, both indoors and outdoors. Our participants, external speakers, and keynote speaker were impressed. For us, this was a completely hassle-free experience.

Vanaf het eerste contact was alles professioneel, duidelijk en geruststellend. De communicatie, de rondleiding, de voorbereiding en de opvolging vlak voor het event waren uitstekend. Kwaliteit is voor ons enorm belangrijk, en net daarom was het fijn om te merken dat alles tot in de puntjes werd opgevolgd.

Ook op de dag zelf was alles perfect: ruime parking, een duidelijk onthaal, een prachtig ingerichte zaal, vlekkeloos werkende audiovisuele ondersteuning, voldoende technische assistentie en een team dat onze noden goed begreep. De catering was goed georganiseerd, overvloedig en heerlijk. Het ontbijt, de pauzes, het internationale buffet en de slotdrink waren allemaal tot in de puntjes verzorgd.

De locatie zelf is prachtig en biedt veel ruimte, zowel binnen als buiten. Onze deelnemers, externe sprekers en keynote spreker waren onder de indruk. Voor ons was het een volledig zorgeloze ervaring.

Wanneer we opnieuw een soortgelijk event organiseren, hoeven we niet verder te zoeken. Voor ons is er maar één adres: De Montil in Affligem. Hartelijk dank aan het hele team voor de professionaliteit, de gastvrijheid en de perfecte organisatie.

VVRO Annual Congress - 7/3/2026

As a professional organization, we organize our annual congress every year. It was the first time this took place at the Montil, and we were very satisfied with it!
The communication beforehand went smoothly: we were correctly informed and helped well! What we asked for was done. They thought things through together with us.
The infrastructure is top-notch: one large hall where our exhibitors could set up and where the catering took place. The halls where the presentations were held were also well-equipped! The signage was clear too; in any case, we didn't feel like people were getting lost ;-)
On the day itself, there was also a point of contact who could accommodate last-minute questions or changes.
Catering: also top-notch! Plenty of pastries in the morning and a varied, tasty lunch!
We heard from everyone, both participants and exhibitors, that they were very satisfied!

Als beroepsorganisatie organiseren we elk jaar ons jaarcongres. Het was de eerste x dat dit in de Montil doorging en we waren hierover héél tevreden!
De communicatie op voorhand verliep vlot: we werden correct geïnformeerd en goed geholpen! Wat we vroegen, werd gedaan. Er werd mee nagedacht samen met ons.
De infrastructuur is top: één grote zaal waar onze standhouders konden staan alsook de catering doorging. De zalen waar de voordrachten door gingen, waren ook goed uitgerust! De bewegwijzering was ook duidelijk; we hadden in elk geval niet het gevoel dat mensen verloren liepen ;-)
Op de dag zelf was er ook een aanspreekpunt die kon tegemoet komen aan last minute vragen/wijzigingen.
Catering: ook top! Voldoende koffiekoeken 's morgens en een gevarieerde lekkere lunch!
We hoorden van iedereen, zowel deelnemers als standhouders, dat ze heel tevreden waren!
Bedankt om er samen met ons een leuke en interessante dag van te hebben gemaakt! We waren daar met een gerust gevoel dat alles vlot zou verlopen :-)

A very positive experience all round

Kim Eeckhoudt provided excellent support during the planning of our event. This made for a stress-free experience. During the event itself, all our needs were met, and it felt good to have technical support available if needed. The venue also met our expectations, and it was great that Kim helped us adapt the size and layout of the room to our groups. The attractive signage and tasteful catering completed the picture and generated positive feedback from the workshop participants.

We hosted an event at the De Montil on behalf of a client and it was a great success! Kim and her team were super helpful in the lead up to the event and the staff onsite during the event were brilliant, efficient and professional. Their support in ensuring that the event ran smoothly and without any issue meant that the client was extremely happy at the end of the day. The venue is spacious and beautiful and can be used for various event types. Their onsite AV supplier, Play, were also fantastic and really supported our every need when it came to the AV requirements to add a real professionalism to the event. We look forward to hosting an event there in the future.

Another successful staff event in De Montil

After a successful staff event (meeting with subsequent BBQ) in September 2023, we were again very satisfied with our New Year's staff event (meeting incl. reception and walking dinner) in January. Very smooth organization of the entire event for a very large group (including breakout rooms), which is not always easy. Once again, very good service and the necessary flexibility were demonstrated. Finally, the catering was again very much appreciated. In short, tip top condition again!

Ergonomics conferences in De Montil

The professional association for ergonomics, VerV, has already organized four major events in De Montil. It will become a permanent location for us, which gives us recognisability. CIO Leadership Summit in De Montil

Active in the organization of business conferences and events for 20 years, this was our first experience at De Montil. And it has been a good one: great venue, flexibility of the staff, price/value, excellent catering and associated service... So, only positive feedback from our own staff and conference guests as well and God knows we are strict on the details. Clearly, we will come back again !

De Montil: the quality is dripping off

For the second time, our non-profit organization, Psoriasis Liga Vlaanderen, organized an event in De Montil and for the second time (and without exaggeration) I evaluate this event company succinctly as "You have to be here for the most successful event!".

Voor de tweede keer organiseerde onze vzw, Psoriasis Liga Vlaanderen, een event in De Montil en voor de tweede keer (én zonder overdrijving) evalueer ik dit eventbedrijf kort en krachtig als "Voor het meest geslaagde evenement moet je hier zijn!".
We waren tevreden over de hele lijn: prachtig complex met zalen voor alle soorten meetings, alles gereed en klaar gemaakt zoals vooraf afgesproken, perfecte service, goede keuken met gepaste hulp voor de bediening, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en indien er toch een probleempje opdook, was er altijd iemand bereid om je te helpen.
De Montil is top professioneel maar heeft ook oog voor de menselijke kant 'van de klant'.

On 16/03 we were forced to cancel our spring fair in De Montil, on 14/09 we were able to organize our autumn fair in De Montil. Thanks to the excellent cooperation with De Montil and its staff, this became a 100% Corona-proof event with a successful course in a relaxed and calm atmosphere despite / thanks to all the precautions. Op 16/03 moesten we nog noodgedwongen onze voorjaarsbeurs in De Montil afgelasten, op 14/09 konden we dan toch onze najaarsbeurs in De Montil organiseren. Dankzij de uitstekende samenwerking met De Montil en haar personeel werd dit een 100% Corona-proof gebeuren met een succesvol verloop in een -ondanks/dankzij alle voorzorgsmaatregelen- ongedwongen en rustige sfeer. De inzet van het personeel gekoppeld aan de uitstekende accomodatie heeft hier enorm toe bijgedragen, een pluim voor hen, van harte dank !

Meeting in De Montil in Corona times

Pro Flandria is a Flemish network of entrepreneurs and academics. We organize a membership meeting for about 100 participants 4 times a year. Afterwards there is a reception with the possibility to have lunch afterwards.

Due to lack of space (Corona rules) in our traditional meeting location, we moved to De Montil in Essene on 19 Sept 2020. It must be said: in De Montil there is more than enough space to hold a meeting for 100 people in accordance with Corona. Because we were very satisfied with the reception, course of the meeting, reception and subsequent lunch, we also booked the Montil directly for our next 2 meetings.

An annual celebration

Every year in September - and this for the 6th time now - we organize a national conference for our profession.
Due to the number of participants, we had to switch from a smaller location to "De Montil" after the first edition.
We haven't regretted this for a moment.
Every year we can look forward to and afterwards very satisfied with a successful event, where the infrastructure, catering and technical support are perfect.
For us, "De Montil" is therefore a synonym for "top" in support of a conference.
