The Barn at Olde Homeplace

The Barn at Olde Homeplace is a historic barn venue in Statesboro, Georgia, available for weddings, receptions and a range of private and community gatherings. Built in 1914 as a mule barn, the property offers a country setting with rustic character, open grounds and a pecan grove. Organisers can hire the space for celebrations such as engagement parties, birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, family gatherings, fundraisers and Greek formals.

The barn can accommodate around 150 to 175 guests indoors, with additional loft space available. The grounds can also be used during an event, giving hosts options for outdoor activities and photographs. Wedding and party packages offer different hire periods and arrangements, so organisers can choose a booking suited to their event. A separate home on the property may also be available to rent for the same weekend, subject to availability.

Venue amenities include round and rectangular tables, folding chairs, restrooms, parking, Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth sound system, a smart TV, a fire pit and access to a preparation area with a refrigerator and sink. Outside caterers are welcome, although the venue does not provide a full kitchen. The barn is not climate controlled, so organisers should take the season and weather into account when planning. The owner can arrange tours and answer questions about availability, packages and practical details, including accessibility. The venue is suited to organisers seeking a rural, characterful setting for a wedding or gathering near Statesboro.
