neushoorn is a live music venue and event venue in the centre of Leeuwarden. Organisers can hire a range of spaces for gatherings, company parties, drinks receptions, presentations, public events and cultural productions. The venue combines the atmosphere and facilities of a music venue with smaller spaces for meetings and workshops.
For larger events, there are two concert halls and a café hall. The halls can be arranged to suit your needs, for example with a stage, dance floor, seating or standing tables. Lighting and sound equipment is available, and technical support can be discussed in advance. The café offers a more informal setting for a drinks reception or gathering. Smaller groups can use, among other spaces, a meeting room and an artist lounge. Classrooms and rehearsal rooms are also available for certain activities and at certain times.
As well as hiring out rooms, neushoorn can support organisers with various aspects of production. This includes technical support, ticket sales, catering, food service, decorations and an additional programme. Options vary by space and event, so availability and arrangements are agreed based on the enquiry. The café has facilities for meetings, such as a screen, flipchart, Wi-Fi and furniture. Food and drink can be provided by arrangement. Bringing your own catering is not possible due to agreements with catering partners.
With its combination of concert halls, meeting rooms and creative workspaces, neushoorn is suitable for a wide range of organisers. Whether you are planning a business meeting, a celebratory evening or a cultural production, the team will be happy to discuss which space and support best suit your plans.
