Legacy Room

The Legacy Room is a meeting space offered through the Legacy Sites in downtown Montgomery, Alabama. It is suited to organisers bringing a school group, board, organisation or other party to the area who need a place to meet as part of a wider group visit. Meeting spaces can be reserved in advance through the Legacy Sites team.

Organisers can contact the team for help planning a group itinerary, identifying an appropriate meeting space and considering catering options. Educational resources and other arrangements may also be available for groups, including school parties and visitors with particular scheduling or access requirements. Advance contact is especially recommended for larger groups, so the team can discuss the visit and available resources before arrival.

The Legacy Room forms part of a broader group-visit offer connected to the Legacy Museum, the National Memorial for Peace and Justice and the Freedom Monument Sculpture Park. This makes the space relevant to organisers arranging educational, institutional or organisational visits focused on the Legacy Sites. Several spaces of different sizes are available for groups, and private dining areas and catering referrals can also be discussed.

The venue is best understood as a bookable meeting option for groups planning a visit to the Legacy Sites, rather than a general-purpose party venue. Organisers can enquire directly about the room, availability and the arrangements that best suit their group's programme.
