Metabolic Lab

Korte Papaverweg 6, 1032 KB Amsterdam, Netherlands

Metabolic Lab is a small-scale meeting and event space on the grounds of De Ceuvel in Amsterdam-Noord. Organisers can hire the venue for meetings, brainstorming sessions, training and team days. It is well suited to gatherings focused on sustainability, innovation and collaboration, but also works well for business sessions that would benefit from an inspiring setting.
The space is practically equipped for different types of programme. Tables and chairs can be arranged flexibly to suit, for example, a presentation, workshop or meeting. Wifi, a projector with screen and a flip chart are available for presentations. There is also a kitchenette with a fridge for use during the event.
One distinctive feature of Metabolic Lab is its connection with the sustainable developments at De Ceuvel. The lab began as an experimental workspace and presentation space focused on clean technology and circular solutions. This background gives gatherings a meaningful context and makes the venue appealing to organisations working on social or environmental themes. The building and its surroundings provide a different setting from a standard meeting room in an office environment.
Plant-based catering is available from the neighbouring Café de Ceuvel. This makes it possible to combine a gathering with lunch or another catering option. Metabolic Lab is also used for talks, film screenings and community gatherings. The space is available for external hire too. Organisers can contact De Ceuvel to ask about availability and the options for their programme.
