Lake Mary Parks & Recreation

Lake Mary Parks & Recreation manages public facilities in Lake Mary, Florida, including spaces that event planners can reserve for private and community gatherings. Its indoor option, the Lake Mary Community Center, has two rooms available for hourly hire. Room 1 accommodates up to 160 people and includes access to an outdoor patio and a kitchenette for serving refreshments. Room 2 seats up to 108 in a theatre-style layout and has a small wet bar. Both rooms have tables and chairs, with a television available as an optional extra.

The rooms suit a range of occasions, including birthday parties, anniversaries, graduations, baby showers, meetings and other private functions. Organisers can arrange a visit in advance, and bookings require a signed agreement and payment. A two-hour minimum applies, and rentals must finish by 10 pm. City residents may be eligible for a discounted rate, subject to proof of residency.

The department also lists reservable outdoor and recreation facilities, with options that include parks, a gazebo, athletic fields and basketball courts. These spaces can give organisers alternatives to an indoor function room, depending on the type of gathering and the facility's rules and availability. Rental arrangements, equipment and fees vary by location, so planners should check the relevant facility details before booking. The Community Center team can answer questions about room hire, tours and booking arrangements, while the Parks and Recreation department provides information on its wider facilities.
