Zehntscheuer Ravensburg e.v.

Grüner-Turm-Straße 30, 88212 Ravensburg, Germany

Zehntscheuer Ravensburg is a historic event venue on the edge of Ravensburg's old town. The former barn is now used as a cultural centre and, subject to its own programme, can also be hired for private events. These include corporate events, association celebrations, anniversaries, talks and training courses. Public concerts and other cultural events are organised by the supporting association itself.

The hall, measuring around 145 square metres, can accommodate up to 199 people. A permanent stage and existing lighting and sound equipment make the venue particularly suitable for concerts, presentations and talks. The facilities include a sound system, microphones, a mixing desk and lighting controls. The stage is about five metres wide and 4.8 metres deep. A grand piano is also available. Event planners can discuss technical questions directly with the team responsible for the stage and technical equipment.

The building combines its historic character with the facilities of a cultural centre that regularly hosts events. Catering is provided by a catering concessionaire, and enquiries about this should be directed to the Zehntscheuer office. As hire depends on the cultural programme's schedule, it is advisable to enquire early and include your preferred date, the occasion and the planned schedule. The rooms, which are accessible at ground level, are suitable for small to medium-sized events where a stage and a personal, culturally distinctive atmosphere are important.
