Betty Queen Center

Betty Queen Center is a Louisa County venue offering rooms and outdoor space for meetings, social gatherings and smaller celebrations. Managed by Louisa County Parks and Recreation, the centre has rooms in different sizes, including a Great Room, which organisers can reserve for their event. Tables and chairs are included up to the room's stated allocation, with additional furniture available for a fee.

The Craft Room has a kitchenette available to rent. The centre's commercial kitchen is not open for public use, so organisers should check what facilities suit their plans before booking. A pavilion on the same site can also be reserved for a birthday party or small outdoor event. It includes picnic tables and charcoal grills, making it a practical option for a relaxed gathering.

The venue is suited to local meetings, community activities, family celebrations and informal social events. It is part of a wider recreation complex with facilities such as a playground, picnic areas and a fitness trail. Organisers should note that rental time needs to include both set-up and clean-up, and applications are accepted from two weeks to six months before the requested date. Room bookings and enquiries are handled by the county's Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department. Eligible non-profit organisations may qualify for a room-rental discount, subject to the county's requirements. Contact the department to confirm room availability, rates and the arrangements for your event.
