The Victoria Hall

The Victoria Hall is a historic concert hall and event venue in central Bolton, offering its main hall and a collection of smaller rooms for organisers to hire. Its large, theatre-style hall accommodates up to 1,000 people, including performers, and is suitable for concerts, conferences, presentations, theatrical productions, dance performances, weddings and other large gatherings. Built-in PA equipment and presentation facilities are available, alongside use of the catering facilities. A concert piano and organ are also in place for performances and ceremonies.

For more intimate occasions, organisers can choose from several separate spaces. The Walker and Wesley Suites are suited to birthday parties and other private celebrations, while the Hamer Suite offers a dining area and kitchen access for groups. The Lower Theatre provides a stage-based setting for rehearsals, drama groups and performances. For smaller meetings or gatherings, Ridgeway Chapel can accommodate up to 22 people.

The venue's range of room sizes makes it possible to consider everything from a small gathering to a large public or business event at the same address. The building also operates as a place of worship and presents a programme of concerts, theatrical performances and other public events. Organisers hiring a space can enquire with the facilities team to discuss the room and arrangements for their occasion. Located on Knowsley Street, The Victoria Hall combines a distinctive historic setting with practical facilities for performances, presentations, meetings and celebrations.
