Northeastern State University Jazz Lab

The NSU Jazz Lab is a live music and event venue in downtown Tahlequah, Oklahoma, operated by Northeastern State University. While it serves as a performance and teaching space for the university's jazz programme, the venue is also available to community groups and event planners for private hire.

The main room has cabaret-style seating for approximately 130 guests, with 96 places on the floor level and a further 34 in the balcony. Its stage, sound system and acoustic treatments make the space well suited to concerts, recitals and other performances. The venue also welcomes wedding receptions, showers, private parties, corporate meetings, conferences and community functions. Hire rates depend on the type and length of the event, and organisers can contact the booking office to discuss arrangements or arrange a tour.

Alongside event hire, the Jazz Lab has a recording facility with a digital production studio and an isolation booth. Organisers planning a live performance or recording can ask about the available facilities and technical options. The venue's New Orleans-inspired lobby offers space for guests before a performance, with the box office and public facilities also located there.

The Jazz Lab gives organisers a distinctive, music-focused setting for gatherings in Tahlequah. Its combination of an intimate performance room, balcony seating and recording facilities makes it suitable for both audience events and private functions. As a university venue that is open to the wider community, it brings together a dedicated arts setting and practical options for a range of occasions.
