The Maschinenhaus at the Kulturbrauerei is an event venue in Prenzlauer Berg, mainly used for concerts and theatre productions. The hall can accommodate up to 250 guests, making it suitable for events in an intimate setting where audiences are close to the action. The stage hosts both up-and-coming bands and established musicians, including acts from the international music scene. Acoustic concerts are just as much at home here as high-energy live performances.
The programme also includes theatre performances, improvisational theatre and musical stage productions. Readings and other cultural events round out the offering. The technical facilities are designed for stage events and support a range of formats featuring live music and spoken-word performances.
The Maschinenhaus is particularly interesting for event planners looking for a dedicated venue in Berlin for a concert, theatre production or cultural event. The entrance area and cloakroom are located in the basement, where guests can be welcomed and leave their coats. The neighbouring Kesselhaus is right next door. For larger events, the two venues can be connected, creating additional options for an expanded programme or multiple event areas. Its location on the Kulturbrauerei site combines the industrial character of this historic complex with the facilities of an established Berlin cultural venue.
